Awana & Discipleship Training (Sept. - May) 6:00pm
Church Re-Opening Plan
Church Reopening Guidelines
Cleaning and Sanitation Practices
As is our normal practice, the entire place of worship will be properly cleaned and sanitized. Pews, bathrooms, doorknobs, light switches, microphones, common musical instruments, and any other areas where germs might be transferred will be sanitized.
Prior to reopening, staff and volunteers will be instructed on best practices to avoid contamination.
All areas will be sanitized between services, particularly high-touch surfaces.
Bathrooms will be regularly cleaned and sanitized, and we will ensure that adequate hand washing supplies are present.
Additional hand sanitizer stations will be installed as needed.
General Procedures/Information for Services in Worship Center
All attendees are strongly encouraged to wear masks, and free masks will be made available until supply is exhausted.
Everyone will be expected to follow current social distancing guidelines by maintaining 6 feet of space between one another as much as is practicable.
All doors and door handles will be wiped with a disinfecting solution before and after each use.
All doors in high traffic areas will be propped open at the beginning and end of services.
Signage and screen announcements will be posted/displayed encouraging hand washing and the use of hand sanitizers.
Two greeters, wearing masks and gloves, will be stationed at each entrance to offer applications of spray-on hand sanitizer to those who agree to receive it.
All staff members, volunteers and other attendees will be asked to avoid handshaking and other physical expressions of greeting.
Offering envelopes will be distributed to those who request them. Greeters distributing the envelopes should wear masks and gloves.
A volunteer attendant will be assigned to each restroom to sanitize all touch surfaces after each use.
Sick members and those deemed as being at high risk from the virus, will be encouraged to remain safe at home and avoid contact with others.
Online services will continue to be streamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
For the time being, no food or coffee shall be served before or after services.
Children's Church will not meet, and children's nurseries will remain closed.
Every other row or pew will remain open and family members from same households will be encouraged to sit together.
For the time being, the "greeting time" will be excluded from our services.
No offering plates will be passed. Offering boxes will be placed at the Main Entrances (East and West) to receive offerings and other donations.
